The transformation of the research institute into a research and production enterprise was a natural consequence growth and diversification of production. In 1999, the Research and Production Institute was created enterprise "Tomsk Electronic Company" (OOO NPP "TEK"), which added dosing systems to its developments in the field of automation and robotics. Having won the tender for AK Transneft, LLC NPP TEK began the development and production of explosion-proof electric drive control units. During these years, the Tomsk Electronic Company is rapidly developing, the team is increasing almost doubled every year, and by 2005 the company employed about 200 people, and production areas reach 8000 sq.m.
