The contract about equipping of existing final inspection lines for railroad wheels with magnet fluorescent inspection units signed on January 27, 2012 means continuation of successful cooperation of SME TEC Ltd. and OAO EvrazNTMK.
Need of equipping of already existing FIL #1 and 2 was dedicated by changes of requirements imposed by OAO RZhD to degree of surface defects inspection by magnet fluorescent method (complete inspection of output wheels) as well as by intention of OAO EvrazNTMK to approach international markets and necessity to make an inspection as per European Standards.
Tomsk Electronic Company works in this project together with its partner, ZAO Intratest, which main task will be measuring and metrological parts of the project. Within the project SME TEC will conventionally act as a general contractor. The main tasks of our company will be development of design and engineering documentation with undergoing industrial safety expertise, production, supply and installation of transport equipment, manipulators and washing unit as well as performance of woks at site.
A feature of this project is the fact that all works will be performed on operating equipment without shutdown of production lines. It means that Tomsk Electronic Company is ready and available to complete complex tasks allotted by Customer.
IX Specialized Exhibition "Oil. Gas. Energy–2012" was held in Orenburg from 15th to 17th Feb-ruary, 2012. Tomsk Electronic Company represented for the first time in this region took part in the event.
Members of our Company took part in a training course "PIPELINE VALVES" lasted from 24 till 26 of January 2012 in Saint-Petersburg. The course was organized by Scientific and Industrial Valve Manufacturers Association for staff members of enterprises engaged in manufacturing and supplying of pipeline valves and drives.
